Who we are

A team that understandsyour business.

FernBytes is an engineering team for growing businesses. We take time to learn how your work runs day to day, then build, secure, and support the systems that help it run better.

Team, at work
Our story

Started to close the gap between the business and the build

We started FernBytes because too many software projects drift away from the business they are meant to support. Requirements get passed from one team to another, the build happens at a distance, and the finished system misses the small details that make the work real.

So we keep the team focused and the conversation direct. We work across AI, custom software, cybersecurity, infrastructure, integration, and automation, but the goal stays the same: systems that make daily work clearer, faster, and easier to trust.

How we operate

What you can count on from us

01

Understand the work first

Before we suggest a solution, we learn how the work really happens: the people, the handoffs, the workarounds, and the moments where things slow down. Good systems start with an honest picture of today.

02

Straight answers, including the hard ones

We tell you what something will take, where the risks are, and when a simpler option makes more sense, even if it means building less. You make better decisions when nothing is hidden.

03

Simple where it can be, solid where it must be

We keep out complexity that does not earn its place. Every tool, integration, and automation has to make the work easier, and the parts your business depends on are built to hold up under real pressure.

04

Built to run long after launch

Security, monitoring, backups, and documentation are part of the build, not extras added later. Everything stays in your name, so you can keep working with us or take it forward on your own.

Where to start

Wherever you are starting from

Most teams come to us with one of these challenges. Some start with one and grow into another as the business changes. Either way, we begin with the problem in front of you.

Fix what is slowing you down

Manual work, messy spreadsheets, and tools that do not talk to each other. We find where time is being lost and replace it with systems that keep work moving without constant chasing.

  • Process review
  • Workflow automation
  • System integrations

Build something new

A platform, an internal tool, or a customer-facing product. We help shape the idea, design the experience, and build it into something your team and customers can rely on.

  • Discovery and scoping
  • Design and development
  • Launch and support

Strengthen what you already run

Systems that work but feel fragile, exposed, or hard to scale. We improve the security, infrastructure, and reliability behind the tools your business already depends on.

  • Security review
  • Cloud and network upgrades
  • Monitoring and backups
Common questions

What clients ask before we start

If something here is not covered, ask us directly and we will answer plainly.

With a conversation about what you want to change. If the scope is already clear, we can quote it. If not, we start with a short discovery to map the work, the risks, and the options before anyone commits to a build.

It depends on how we work together. Defined projects are usually quoted against an agreed scope and milestones. Ongoing support and improvement run on monthly capacity. Specialists who join your team are priced by time. Either way, you know the cost before the work begins.

That depends on the size of the problem and how many systems are involved. Discovery gives you a realistic timeline up front, and we deliver in stages, so you see working software early instead of waiting until the end.

No. Many of our clients do not have developers in-house. We explain decisions in plain language and take care of the technical side. If you do have a team, we work alongside them in their tools and routines.

Yes. Most businesses already rely on tools for finance, sales, operations, or customer support. We connect to them, improve them, or replace them only when it makes sense, and integration is always part of the plan.

You own everything: code, cloud accounts, data, and documentation. After launch, you choose what comes next. We can hand over to your team, stay on for monitoring and maintenance, or keep improving the system as the business grows.

Engineers who like solving real problems

If working directly with clients, systems, and real business problems sounds better than hiding behind a ticket queue, we would like to hear from you.
